Coleslaw Home-Style

Preparation: 30 minutes | For 6 hot dogs

INGRÉDIENTS
  • 1/2 medium-size green cabbage, shredded (3 cup)
  • 250 ml (1 cup) white vinegar
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) water
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) vegetable oil (grape seed, sunflower or canola)
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) sugar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) salt
  • Pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  • Put the shredded cabbage in a large bowl.
  • Combine the remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Remove from heat.
  • Pour the vinaigrette over the cabbage while it’s still warm. Let cool.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Prepare hot dogs with the ULTIMATE HOT DOG STEAMER.
  • Fill hot dogs with coleslaw and your choice of condiments.
